Kiss Duke Nukem Forever, GTA3, and any other Take2 game goodbye, MSFT may buy them

apparently they cant put out good games on their own, just like their other products. have to buy someone else's stuff and slap their label on it :|

they are looking (reportedly) at buying Take2 Interactive (which has put out some great games) and making them exclusive to the Xbox. GTA3, and Duke Nukem Forever were mentioned in the article. Max Payne will probably hit the PS2 since it's almost done, the others probably won't make it to the PC soon if they buy em. Will probably be like Halo and be a year or so before released on the PC.

Freejack: Actually, Halo was going to be available for Windows and Mac OS before MS bought Bungee out, now it's Xbox exclusive. Not even a Windows version. I can see GTA3 becoming the same. DAMN! :disgust:

electrode, Halo is still coming out for the PC and Mac, was part of the agreement between MSFT and bungie. on the offical halo forums it says 2002 at the top.

i imagine the other games will be the same way if this happens. if they come out at all, look for gta3 and duke nukem forever about feb of 2003

That's a relief. Halo is too cool to be console only, and GTA3 is even better.

Well I think if MS does buy Take 2 they might make a PC version. Sort of how MS published the PC version of Metal Gear Solid. Who knows though, if Take 2 does get sold they will lose more money, so what's the point? Right now GTA3 is selling like crazy, but if they mae the GTA series as X-box only they will lose lots of money.

Duke Nukem Forever does not exist.. It's nothing more than a front for George and the crew's Columbian drug running business.

Whip up some screen shot's in 3D Studio Max... run drugs... run drugs... run drugs... Put out a 15 sec. prerendered movie... run more drugs... run more drugs...
