Kismet problems with iwi on FreeBSD 6.0

I hope this is in the right forum.

When I run kismet on FreeBSD 6.0 using iwi, it seems that kismet only captures Management Beacons and nothing else. When I sent a couple megs over the wireless network, kismet did not detect it. Did I forget to do something?

Also, there seems to be two nondescript errors:
iwi0: timeout waiting for firmware to initialization to complete
iwi0: could not boot firmware
 
did you loaded the iwi firmware ?

iwicontrol ...

i can see it as my freebsd is unbootable 🙁

but search this way 🙂
