BBC Article

A BBC correspondent travelling with the troops, Dumeetha Luthra, said "I am surrounded by crowds of people. They're celebrating what appears to be the fall of Kirkuk."

Bombing it now, according to that article.

I'd rather see a move toward encircling the town and cutting off access into and out of it instead of a bombing campaign. Let's corral the Fedayeen, Republican Guard, and Ba'ath party fighters and put them in one spot and let the Iraqi people have their way with them! ;)

I think you got the plan perfectly right up until the end, though that seems appropriate, let the other tyrants in the region watch their greatest fear.

Great now we have to deal with the Turks. Hopefully the Kurds will listen to reason.

That's a pretty big 'if'. I hope they do, too.
