Kirkland (Costco) Beer

So I had read in that Costco Connection magazine that they were selling Kirkland beer out on the West Coast and it was going to come out to the East Coast this fall. Well, yesterday I was in Costco and there it was.

I picked it up. It was $18 for the case (24) and contained Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, German Lager and an Amber Ale. Had one of each last night and have to say there were quite good. Anybody else try these?

I haven't but I like most costco brand products and have heard the costco brand beers aren't bad.

I guess I know what i'm picking up this weekend... steak. But maybe some more beer too.

What does the packaging look like? Cheap? Can you buy cases of just one type of beer?

Costco doesn't make their own beer. They use a local microbrewery to make the beer, it's a variety back, and label it kirkland signature or something. It looks just like the sam adam seasonal pack. Well, case of 24 actually.

This.

It is sold under the Kirkland Signature brand. Quite honestly I love all of the KS stuff. I buy it over the brand name stuff all the time.

There are 4 six packs in the case of the above mentioned ales/lagers. I thought they were good especially for the price.

NO!

The Kirkland brand premium ice cream is so damn good I can't stand anything else! I don't need them ruining all other beer for me too. 🙁

EDIT >> Same goes for their Raisin Bran cereal. Holy shit Post is nasty!

Absolutely not. Why would I live in the microbrew capital of the universe and drink garbage? Life's too short.

What makes you say it's garbage?

I've found most Kirkland branded stuff to be as good or better than other brands.

Kirkland Signature Organic Raisin Bran is the best tasting cereal, it's 10 times better than the Kellogg's Raisin Bran.

And it doesn't turn to mush! Post Raisin Bran is inedible in just 60 seconds....
