Kingwin Versus Lian Li?

The kingwin 424 seems like a very attractive case, with lots of features, a clean look, good fan placement (though 2 rear fans would have been nice), and a pretty good price. How does it compare to lian-li, notably pc-65? Does it have the same "brushed aluminum" look that the lian-li does? The lians seem to shine in different lights, and have a textured look to them. Does the kingwin have this?

I like my Kingwin very much. It does have that "brushed aluminum" look, and although I got the Black one, it shines and you can see the texture.
It's a very nice case, very roomy (and LIGHT). I would have also liked 2 exhaust fans, but the single one is doing fine.
I prefer the looks of the coolermaster praetorian, but the kingwin had more features (rubber mounts for HDDs specifically). The construction is also good, I didn't find any sharp/dangerous edges when I built this machine.

I haven't dealt with the Lian-Li PC-65 though, so I'm not sure exactly how it is, but it does look similar (inside and out) to the 424.

Let's see... cheapy rip-off aluminium wanna be Vs. the real deal 1.2mm aluminium molded?

Hmm.. tough choice there!

All I can say is, go and see both with your own eyes.
If you can't tell the difference than maybe Lian-Li is not for you.

Somebody mentioned the lian-li having the same finish as the kingwin. Does it have the same finish to the point where if I bought a lian-li cd bezel it would match?

Kingwin 424's and 436's and the Superflower SF201 and SF301's(Directron.com) are very similar if not identical in many aspects.

I used to have a PC-60 Lian li and the Kingwin's are very similar if not almost Identical in Materials and Build quality. The aluminum color is slightly different, but the quality and style is near identical.

For those above who stated otherwise, please let me know where there is a difference because in the Silver there is none.

I guess some of us are blinded by the Lian li name

Personally I prefer the look and build of the Superflower T301 over the Lian Li and the Kingwin.
