Will these DDR3 unbuffered DIMMs work in an FM1 ECS A55 board? 'Cause I bought five sets of them, hope that they will work. Listing says "optiplex", but nothing I could find pointed out that these were Optiplex-only.

Maybe I'm being too specific, and no-one can answer that Q.

Let me ask another question - is there something about these DIMMs that is Optiplex-specific, or will they work generically in PCs that take DDR3? I know that in the past, I've bought "Mac RAM", that works in custom PCs. (I try to avoid that, though.)

Ok, a follow-up. I received the RAM in the mail, unplugged the single Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866 stick from my FM1 A55 ECS mobo, plugged in two of the sticks mentioned in the OP, and it booted and ran fine. In fact, I was thinking about that today, I don't think that I even went into the BIOS to reset the RAM timings. So, I'm running these DDR3-1600 CAS 9-9-9-24 RAM, at something faster (6% OC on FSB, which affects RAM clocks too on FM1, with the same manually-entered timings for the old 1866 stick, which were 11-11-11-38-2T, or something like that).

So they're working, even slightly overclocked! NICE.
