With SSD prices constantly dropping, I decided to pick up a second ~500GB SSD in addition to the 500GB Evo 850 I already have.
Got the Kingston V300 480 GB instead of another Evo, and managed to buy at the lowest point in the price-graph, which was over $35 cheaper than the Evo 850 500GB.
Since it's going to be a secondary SSD, mostly for Steam games etc., performance isn't as important. I had read about the switch from synchronous to asynchronous NAND in this SSD, but performance doesn't seem to be too bad:
The actual drive casing seems to be made out of plastic rather than metal, which feels a bit cheap, but doesn't really matter.
If these price drops continue, maybe I'll be able to replace one of my 2 or 4TB HDD's with an SSD this year...
