Kingston SSD Now V+ SNVP325-S2. TRIM? Any good?

Hi!

I`m thinking of indulging in an SSD drive and i`m thinking of this:

Kingston SSDNow V+ Series 128GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (SNVP325-S2/128GB)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...14&subcat=1427

However I`m not entirely clear as to whether this model supports TRIM?

I did find this review on the net:

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=445&Itemid=60

But once again I`m not even 100% sure that its the same product since the model number in the overclockers site has an extra "P". Can someone confirm or deny?

Also overall, any opinions as to whether this is a good purchase or are there any better recommendations? I`m not willing to spend much more though!

Thanks!

There is an interview at Toms Hardware with Kingston. V+ series include TRIM.

Tom's Hardware: Hi, guys. I know the technical press, including Tom’s, has done a good job of describing the ins and outs of SSD technology. I’d like to see if we can tackle some of the big issues within SSD, like endurance and TRIM, in a little different way.

Louis Kaneshiro: That sounds good. I should throw in here, William, we launched the V+ drive just a few days ago, and that does support TRIM.

AFAIK, the 128GB version uses a Samsung controller ***EDIT*** The review states Toshiba controller....hmmmm!!!. The 40/80GB versions of the V drive uses Intel controller. Don't know much else about it.
