Hi!

I just bough a Kingston 512 MB memory card. When I formatted and tried to fill in songs in it for my mp3 player, it just goes as far as around 240 MB and then I get a windows message that 'either the file or the directory is corrupted!"

The above thing happens when I use my card reader. Now when I use my mp3 player (TDK mojo), the same thing happens except ... instead of the corruption message, the tranfer stops and the transfer software hangs after around 240 MB.

I have reformatted my card 5 time .. but to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm sure my mp3 supports 512 mb card. However, I read the following comments on various websites:

1. The MojoX needs to be formatted using FAT16 format.

2. The root folder can manage a maximum of 512 entries. The use of long file names can significantly reduce the number of available entries.

Dunno if this has something to do with it ....
