Kingston pc3200 dual channel question

I got the A7N8X DELUXE ASUS and only ONE stick of 512 pc3200 2.5 ram. I am not really caught up to date on dual channel. Can I use just one stick with this setup at 2500+ and get a good overclock performance VS. having two sticks and using dual channel. Any comments are apprechiated or links to websites with info. Thx.

Dual channel would help, but I dont think it has a huge impact on AMD rigs, along the lines of ~5% I think. Where as Intel likes as much memory bandwidth as it can get.

Yeah, don't worry about dual channel on your system; the performance boost would be very minimal.
