Kingston PC133 128MB - $69.95 + Free Overnight shipping

Good find.

It's on their hardware homepage in the right hand column

Rebate on purchases from 11-01 until 11-30.

CL3, but still very useful and for a good price.

I've always received the Kingston rebates.

Thanks

l0g0ut -- don't mislead people.
this is a double sided ram.
the signle sided one is more expensive and no rebate.

sorry if what i said is wrong but i can't see product with the exact same manufacturer # from outpost listing (Manufacturer# KVR133X64C3/128) in value ram website. the closest item is KVR133X64C3SS/128 so i assume it's the same.... i stand corrected.

valueram.com product listing

This is my first experience with Outpost. Definitely recommend them...free overnight (and saturday delivery!). Just can't beat that.

The 128mb PC133 value ram I got was Toshiba TC59SM708FT-75 just in case anyone needs a reference. Keep that receipt, cuz it has lifetime warranty too 😀

this is NOT a good deal even with free overnight shipping and rebate.
I recieved this value ram last weekend.
The performance is not as good as the generic memory stick I got from comptuer show. All the ibm memory chips don't have the same date code.

I bought some of the Value Ram a few months ago and it had the IBM chips. It would not run reliably at 133mhz on my Abit VT6x4.

I contacted them about it and they RMA'd it for me. Sent me some overnight with Infineon chips. Stable up to 140mhz. CPU can't go any more.

Ian@CDRlabs -- Did outpost pay the return shipping? if not, how much for the return shipping ? I am in the process of RMA it. Thanks

I got one from the latest Buy.com memory craze and it has an Infineon chip.. how is it compared to the IBM chips? It's CAS2 but only PC100

Check out my post yesterday for 128mb of 100mhz kingston ram for about 55 bucks if you want to really go the cheap route.

This ram sucks! It can't even run at 100MHz-cas 2! I'm returning it now. However, still thanks for the find.

Ook it looks like the Outpost RAM uses IBM ships - anyone know what kind of chips the Egghead ValueRAM is being sold with?

I made a search, and I found two lucky persons so far. Please let me know if we have more lucky persons in this forum.

CinderElmo - he got a pc133 value ram with Toshiba chips.
Braxus - he got a pc100 value ram stick from the omax deal a while back (Hyundai chips)

Kingston manufactures the modules, buying the RAM chips in bulk directly from the fabs. The type of chip onboard just depends on who Kingston bought from at the time of the module's manufacture.

I've bought a few of these sticks at OfficeMax over the past couple months and they all had Hyundai chips onboard.
