Egghead.com

If you have 2 slots and don't plan on upgrading that much get 2 64's save 9$ , Damnit ram prices are looking great.

Thanks cheapest :)

Regards,
-Xzaver-

EDIT: UPS Ground usually for 2 sticks of ram runs about 3$ this ram must way a ton!

Actually Xzaver Egghead.com has flat rate shipping... so no matter how much you buy it'll stay @ $6.95 for UPS ground. ;)

Got a 64 and a 128 stick .. put the 64 in my fiance's and the 128 in my PC. Tried it at cas2 along with my "quality" 128 stick. Gave me the usual whine about setting cas rating to 3 instead. Booted up fine but I had weird errors in less than 5 minutes. I rebooted after a lotta screen blue screens and set it back to cas3 and its been fine for an hour or so. This is as stable a Win98 PC as I have ever worked on, and I work on 300+ at work. I'd say no for cas2@133 but YMMV. Good Luck :)

Well, $36 for 64MB kingston is not bad. Rebate is a nice bonus when it finally arrives.

i couldn't get this valueram to CL2-133, just lettin you all know. actually, sisoft sandra was reading it as fpm ram. i got a replacement and same thing happened. i decided to find out why this mem was reading as fpm. i wrote a letter to valueram@kingston.com asking them what was going on, they said something about certain boards not being able to read it correctly. that made sense to me because i was running it at CL3-133 not fpm. i sold it and went for a better brand.

I agree with Apunahus. I just got the 128MB Valueram with Infineon chips and couldn't get it to run at CAS2. Kept crashing. Worked fine at CAS3 though.

Thems the breaks.

So which is better? Kingston PC133 Cl3 or Crucial PC133 CL3.

I assume everybody will say Crucial, but the real question is "Is it worth the price difference?". Can the Crucial PC133 CL3 do 133Mhz CL2?

DOes Staples carry the crucial 128mb PC133 CL3? if so SKU#?

Chatterjee.... correct on the rebates.. they really slowed down on processing.

Noticed it was the same form as the Buy.com one... same processing company.. tried their web site to check status.. tcarebates.com. Site was down most of the day until now. Last processed one for me was in January? oh oo.

FYI, There is also a PNY 64MB w/ Rebate for a few bucks more than the kingston... not that it's better, just, gives you another stick of 64MB to have around that was cheap.
