Kingston memory gone bad

What's their policy on bad memory? I think I've had my 2 stick of 512MB for about 8 months now and one of them seemed to have gone bad. When I remove the good one out, the PC wont boot up and it keeps beeping. When I take it out and put the good one in, my PC boots up fine.
