Kingston HyperX PC4000 Memory

What are the thoughts on using the "Kingston HyperX PC4000 1GB 2X512MB DDR500 CL3 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit " with the new unit I am going to build using the ASUS A8V Delux motherboard and the AMD Athon 64 x2 3800+ processor, I read that it is great for overclocking. I do a fair bit of VCR to DVD conversion. just dont know if I really need this RAM. Thank in advance....................scotty
 
If you already have the RAM, go ahead and use it. If you don't, unless you are into benchmarks you probably won't see much real-world benefit from expensive RAM. For more info see this thread.
