they appear to be identical pieces of ram with identical latencies

They even have a similar # which speicifies the kit = KHX3200AK2/1G (Outpost has it as KHX3200K2/1G)

close enough.

I am saying if the ram at outpost is actually the same as on newegg, this is a great deal to all those budget $150 CAS 2.5/3 rams everyone has been buying.

Maybe its just me, but after checking around even the kingston web site, I cant find any difference between the NewEgg HyperX KHX3200AK2/1G and the outpost HyperX KHX3200K2/1G, EXCEPT a big price difference.

Any one else able to determine if there is a difference??

If not, I'm buying

Model # at Newegg: KHX3200AK2/1G
Model # at Outpost: KHX3200K2/1G

Difference: The Newegg model has the 'A'. ???

Now, if it was the KHX3200ULK2, I'd be all over it.

Yeah, and they also have individual sticks of 512 of this stuff for $85:

Kingston 512MB PC3200 400MHz 64x64 HyperX DDR Memory - 2-3-2-6 - $84.99

I looked at that, but I figure for Outpost this is just a typo. On Kingston's website the KHX designation is mostly reserved for CL2 ram.

got the ram today from my favorite DHL guy. Works perfectly and the number on the box says KHX3200AK2/1GR.

It's there already but more recent hotdeals keep bumping it down.

I think I am going to pick a pair myself actually. Hopefully they'll have some in stock. I just wish someone who bought these sticks reported back on overclocking.

Sorry for double post, but is there a program that tells you what chips are you running because its too hard to remove the heatspreders?

Just got mine delievered today. Outpost site says KHX3200K2/1G, but when I had called them they advised they were the KHX3200AK2/1G, the the same as Neweggs. The ones I recieved were the KHX3200AK2/1G. Machine not built yet, so can't tell you whats its running. Good luck to those who have them on order.
