Ok now a more technical question getting back to my fascination with the asus a8n sli deluxe. Even though Asus does not have it as tested memory for this motherboard on their website is it possible they will in the future. Based on your knowledge of this motherboard should this memory work. I only ask because I have an oppotunity to buy it cheap and I woukd like to if it will work.

Yeah it should work. It's impossible for a company even as large as Asus to test all memories out there. Kingston alone might have 30 different models and 5 different models of PC3200 alone.

Go for it. This memory is supposed to be decent at overclocking. I was going to get it, but missed the deal at outpost.com

Not really the absolute fastest PC3200 if its rated at 2-3-2. But, if you have it for a nice price, grab it.

It is good, but I just picked up a module that auto's at 2.5-3-3-6. It won't even boot at 2-3-2-5 when I manually set the timings.

Time for these to go back to Fry's.

Did you up the voltage to 2.8?

Frys B&M/Outpost.com sold me AK2s and not K2s as well. But I'm happy with them considering the price I got them for.
