i am currently looking at ddr 333 memory sticks for my first system,

I havnt been able to find this topic, but what would the difference be between

Kingston 512Mb DDR [333]
and
Kingston 512Mb DDR [333] Hyper-X

Currently, where i live (canada) theres a 40 dollar price difference between the two
is the Hyper-X clocked higher?
is it worth a 40$ increase?

AMD Barton 2500xp
Asus A7N8X
Sapphire built ATI Radeon 9500pro

I wouldn't reccomend it. I had hyper-x and an a7n8x and it never worked properly. turns out hyper-x and revision 2.0 nforce 2 boards don't play nicely. just save your money and get some crucial or a different brand.

Wow, good thing i checked.

there a particular brand name you would recommend?

I will be running everything at clock speed, no overclocking with anything

If you aren't going to OC at all, then just get the cheapest. Try and get Cas 2.5 or Cas 2 if you want a little more performance.

Well if you won't Overclock I wouldn't reccomend to get the CHEAPEST you can find ;)

I'd reccomend some pc2700 Crucial Ram...about ~35ish (I don't remember if it was 38 or 30)USD for a stick of 256 @ Newegg

As for hyper-X it has lower latency timings which is good :) And its running in my frien'ds (pc3200hyperx) 8rda+ so all in all its good
