Check this out.. My first "HOTDEAL" attempt, and I think it went pretty well! Pcstop.com has the Kingston 64 MEG CompactFlash card for $87.10. Staples has the same item for $130.99. Pricematch that, but pcstop.com adds UPS Ground of $9.92 (Staples can't overnight or 2-day this item, it says 3-5 days on their website). The total is now $97.02 shipped from Staples.

Then, I added a top quality Stanford Pen for $5.99 to reach $100. Use the 30 off 100 coupon and my grand mackdaddy total came to $77- shipped....

Not bad, eh?

PCSTOP 64 Meg - catalog part # 224297
Staples 64 Meg - item # 1224297
Staples Pen - item # 880031
30 off 100 - :)

P.S. Save a few more bucks and don't order such an expensive pen! ;)

CompUSA has 32MB CompactFlash for 32 after rebate. Buy two and you are out $64. Yes you are charged tax, but you are charged tax with Staples as well. Good post though.

True Sygyzy, but this is for the folks that hate the rebates... I'm waiting for at least 5, 6, 7, i don't even know. It's just funny I think that Staples sells this to the "unaware public" for $130, but us "distiguished Anandtechers" can snag it for $75.. Pretty thweet!

Oh, and i won't start a new thread or anything, but here's another hot deal:

For the recent pardons, among his other funk ups... Send ClintonS (plural) straight to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. (or $400,000) Stupid mofos......

This would be the hottest deal in my book in the past 8 years!

Nice post...

2 x 32 MB CF cards are not really comparable to 1 x 64 MB card though... especially if you are going to use the cards in a PDA...

Besides, I think the 32 MB card is a Lexar rebate and the rebate is only 1 per household, so the 2 32MB cards don't come close because you can only claim the rebate for 1 card!

Similarly you can get Kingston 128MB for $119, but again that is after a rebate. The CF at CompUSA is Kingston, not Lexar. I could be mistaken though.

yeah, but the compusa lexar comes with a jumpshot cable...goes straight from the card to usb so you don't need the camera to load pics to the pc...saves batteries, nice!
