If you bought through Google check out, you need the Buy.com order number they emailed you. You then go to Buy.com and enter that order number here From there yo will see a place to print a receipt. That is what I used.

i have the 1gb version of this. what transfer rates are people seeing? i think mine is sloOow. took ~3mins to copy 400mb. thanks ~

I just received this drive today and I ran HDTach and it read at 11.7 MB/sec.
I ran the following tests twice and took the average (both tests were close).
I wrote to the drive with one long file 213 MB and it took 45 sec for a 4.7 MB/sec write.
I wrote to the drive with 46 JPEGs totaling 73 MB and it took 18 secs for a 4.1 MB/sec write speed.
For comparison my 18 month old 512MB Sandisk Cruzer Micro was 17.1 MB/sec read on HDTach and the 213 MB file wrote at 46 sec for 4.6 MB/sec. It wrote the 73 MB of JPEGs in a woeful 39 sec for 1.9 MB/sec.
Now my 512MB Corsair USB drive was the best reading at 17.0 mMB/sec. on HDTach.
It wrote the 213 MB file in 23 secs for a 9.3 MB/sec write. The 73 MB of JPEGs was written
in 13.5 secs for a 5.4 MB sec write.

thanks for that
for 10 bucks i dont think you can beat the price even with a bit of performance hit

my lexar jdlightning is super-fast but it also cost me a fortune when i first bought it. it was 110 bucks from dell.com for 2GB and back then (october 2005) it felt like a great deal

the jdlightning is fast but it is prone to scratches and fingerprints, and mine is on the verge of breaking apart. (the chrome shell casing came off while I tried to unplug the usb stick from the laptop, exposing the chip inside while still connected to the laptop)
