Kingston 1GB MicroSD card for $9.95 shipped at meritline. if you haven't ordered from them before, no worries, they're great. i like them better than newegg, but obviously they don't have as broad a selection.

The speed ratings are 150KB/sec being X. So a 40X card is a 6 MB read, 60X is 9.0 MB/sec read. Companies may give you an X rating based on the read speeds because they are always higher than the write speed, which are equally or more important. Kingston doesn't give you an X speed on the micro cards below, but they do give a read/write speed for the SD cards, (also below).Originally posted by: LurkingInNC

Can you provide some frame of reference as to how fast or slow that is? e.g., in comparison to 40X cards, or even better, a general qualitative feel as to how well that would work in a digital camera? (I figure that's one of the applications where card speed is most important)
