I'm in for one.

I was looking at the rebate form:

"Sales order confirmation e-mails will not be accepted as proof of purchase."

I don't have an order showing up in my account with BUY.com and all I have for a reciept is the order/shipping confirmation.

I ordered another few items using Google checkout. They don't show up on my Buy.com order history so I cannot get a Buy.com reciept for them either.

Hope this doesn't kill the deal!

Datacomm:
There should be two ways to have your receipt, not even counting a google checkout receipt. When you get your package from Buy.com there will be a packing slip/sales receipt that should suffice for your rebate(s). Secondly, when Google checkout sends you an email that states your order had shipped, there will be a Buy.com order number in that email. It should be 8 digits, as both of mine were. Go to Buy.com and click on "My account", go then to "lookup order".Now put that 8 digit number with the rest of your info and it will show your order with the receipt from Buy.com.

beware: I submitted a rebate using the buy.com packing slip and they said that was NOT a valid receipt and I didn't get my rebate!
 
Thanks esquared and silentvixen(quiet lady?) I did the order lookup thing and I was able to get a printed reciept and I had been burned by trying to use a packing slip as a reciept a few years back.

I saw the 2gig drive just after ordering the 1 gig drive. Here goes another order with the big G checkout! It is interesting that the Google Checkout orders don't show up in my account summany but do show up as the result of a search.

I guess I'll use one as a Christmas gift for someone....

I was looking to help as much as looking for an answere when I sent my first message. It's nice to have support from those I would be willing to support.
