I are these sandforce with updated firmware reliable?

I haven't heard any complaints around here about sandforce controllers in quite a while (or SSD controller bugs in general). It would seem that they've ironed out their initial bugs.

I have one of these that already got an RMA done. The second has been fine so far, the first developed bad sectors. Also these are maintenance free, no firmware updating needed. Unless this has changed lately, I haven't looked.
