Micro Center has truck loaded of blue-dye Kingston 12X Certified 100-pak spindle for $16.95.
Seems like a good deals except, I don't know if they are any good?

Is Microcenter a b&m? a local area store? Are they an online merchant? Kingston is generally good, except ppl complain they don't last long for archiving purposes. The good thing is I haven't got one bad burn because of the media after going thru 5 50 pack Kingston spindles. Please tell me they are an online merchant so I can get in on this deal.

They are nation wide, but there aren't many B&M stores - Probably one near you if you live in a major metro area. No web ordering that I can tell.

Just to corroborate timekeeper, I saw the 100 pack this weekend @the twin cities location.

They also had 50 pack 16x tdk's for the same price.

No rebate/PM bs for either - definitely a good deal.

I recently bought a 100-pack silver "Delta"-brand 80min/700MB from AccessMicro.com for around $15 + $10 S/H for $24.45 total. I think this is their regular ongoing price. I haven't heard of this brand but figured it's a good price for generic-quality discs. It was supposed to be 12X-rated but the ones I got must've gotten a newer label with 16X rating :)

Haven't used it yet so I don't know how it compares to the Imation that I've been using...

Bought a spindle of these about late December 2000. Silver on top and blue-dye on the buttom. Burns great at 12X.
