Why were the Spurs driving if they were up 1 with time running out? I didn't see it, only a replay, but it seems like they should have held the ball and wait to get fouled.

Adelman called no foul. If they foul then odds are strong that they need a three. He was driving because the shot clock was running out and he was trying to get a shot up and wste some more time.
 
The Spurs could have shot a high arcing three at the buzzer of their shot clock. Even with a brick, the Kings can't rebound, go the length of the floor and score in 3 seconds. Even if they rebound and call timeout, it's still pushing it. Oh well.

all close games tonight. cle wins in was, SAC beats SA, and now LAL only 2 point lead over PHX

what a night of great b-ball.
 
instead of opening a new thread, i wanna go OT for Lakers here. what a great series this is... anybody watching how Kobe is SHARING THE BALL, and almost won the first game, won the second one and is on the way of winning this third game? i think they may upset the Suns... the Suns need Stoudamire and Kurt Thomas back... badly
 
wow, i was switching channels btwn the LA/PHX game and SA/SAC game, and i'm super glad I did.

That last layup at the end was amazing. And LA goes up 2-1!!

to say the least, this was a really awesome night of quality basketball. A lot of heart, emotion, TEAM BBALL. as a fan, this was one of the best nights of BBALL i've seen.

Artest owned Ginobli all game like he paid three ciagrettes for him. That guy was so rattled he didn't know what state he was in......it looked like Ginobli lot the handle.

Pretty easy to say "omg Kobe is sharing that's why they're winning!" when he shot 7-22 in the first game, 12-24 in the 2nd, and now 6-18 in the third. It's not KOBE, it's the rest of the Lakers, wake up, if anyone is sharing it's Nash (10, 9, 11 assists while scoring on or above his avg). Another sad media victim who doesn't actually watch the games.

im sorry but i dont watch every lakers game with me being in nyc. but every game they show with Lakers on ESPN/TNT he scores 30,40,50, or whatever (no the 81 game wasn't on national TV)

and yeah i may be a media victim yeah, since the only way to watch the game is on TV! :roll:

edit: and honestly, i wasnt saying they're winning the game because of Kobe sharing, but because of the Suns injuries. Lakers have no chance if Amare is in this series. the point of my post was that it was a night of great basketball

Lebron winning it was spectacular, LA's players are having the games of their lives, K.Mart with the game winner...
