Kings Quest 1 v3.0 is complete!

I'm not sure how many of you remember this thread that I started a while back, but the company Tierra Entertainment has finally released version 3.0 of the King's Quest 1 remake. If anyone downloaded version 2.0 and had problems getting it to run, maybe this updated version will help you out.

I loved that series when I was a little kid. I stared with KQ3, then KQ4, then the remakes of KQ1 and KQ2. By then I got too old and they switched to point and click which made the games stupid. Ever since then, most games are far less fun: Click on everything, keep clicking on everything, you win. I loved having to think of things to do - that made a game last months not hours.

So this is a point and click version? If so, I'll pass on it.

Well, I had nothing to do with the game...I just stumbled on the site a while back.

The game is point and click for anyone that is interested in downloading it. It sucks that they took away the text parser (or whatever it's called) but it's still a fun trip down memory lane.
