Don, that makes your efforts of overclocking seem infinitesimal!

I'm not into the extreme cooling methods because they're a waste of time. I'm your "average" overclocker who overclocks on cooling 99.9% of people are using.

Can you even game properly while using LN2, or is its use purely for extreme benchmarking?

Probably wouldn't matter with that cpu bottleneck you've got!

Ohhhh!

5850 is half the card the 470 is, and by half I mean DX10 and below.

Not quite sure what you mean by "half" the card:confused:
If you are referring to pre DX10 performance the AT Bench results across a variety of titles suggest they are fairly well matched.
The 470 being faster probably reflects it's far higher release price.

Probably was referring to power usage. :D

Nah I was talking about the 58% overclocks that actually scaled, and tess performance capable of driving even the most demanding titles like Crysis 2 and Batman in 2012 while 5850's upgraded.

Thanks Bro

Welcome, I saw you were looking at surround. If you play a lot of FPS (BF3), go for it. And your cards will do well enough, 2GB might be somewhat limiting in BF3 (I run it with 1.28 in surround) but other than dropping some textures or AA you should be fine with just two cards.
