Right now I'm looking to trade my 2x256MB Of My Kingston HyperX PC3500 RAM for 1GB of RAM. I have an offer from a trader for (2x512) of PC3200 Kingmax RAM. Has anyone had any expierience with this RAM? I've heard of it, but how does it compare to my HyperX. I'm not too worried about the speed since my motherboard will not go faster than DDR400. But how about that latency timings?

It depends on whether or not the Hyperx you have is BH5 or not. My Hyperx PC3500 is BH5, and I would not trade it unless I suddenly stopped overclocking and knew I would not want to. Kingmax ram is okay, but not the best by any stretch.
 
I'm just looking to trade it so I can put at least a gig of ram in my rig. How can I tell that it had BH-5 chips. The heat spreader that they put on them seem impossible to take off.
