Link to the memory on NewEgg

Not a smokin' deal, but a good price on 1GB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Notebook Memory. I bought two of these last week to try out in my Dell 8600. I swapped out my two 512MB Samsung memory modules in my Dell 8600 and installed two of these Kingmax 1 GB memory modules - for a total of 2 GB of RAM in my laptop now (maxed out).

My 8600 recognized the memory right away and booted up with no problems. I ran MemTest-86 for 3 hours and had no errors at all. Some of the reviewers on Newegg have reported having success mixing different size and brands of memory modules, but I prefer matched modules myself. This memory appears to be compatible with many notebooks.

With a Cas Latency of 2.5 and a Lifetime warranty, these 1GB DDR 333 SO-Dimm memory modules are a very decent bargain at just over $100 each w/free shipping. I?ve had my laptop running all weekend and haven?t had any problems running this memory. I frequently use my laptop to burn DVD?s so the 2 gigs will really help me out.

I bought this same RAM a few weeks ago for $119 :(

It works flawlessly in my Dell Inspiron 700m and was super easy to install.

My Toshiba Satellite M20 would not start-up with a single module of this memory.

Picked up two sticks for my Compaq Presario V2000 and they are working without any problems.

Glad I could help :p And I bought 2 of them! running with 2 gigs in my 8600.

The ram does get blazing hot under full performance, but it runs great :)
