Well that depends on which pc version. The pc has a regular ported from the xbox version available in stores and its a fine game. Then there's the "gamer's edition" that can only be bought online (using some direct2drive service) that is based on the upgraded 360 version. I read you need one hell of a pc to run the gamer's edition.

The game itself is nice. Its nothing special and its heavily scripted but I think its worth playing.. the 360 version anyways (and the pc Gamers Edition IF your pc could run it...hello ubisoft..DEMO of that version please!).
Think of the game as an adventure ride because thats what it is in a way. Its like one long ride based on the movie. You'll wish there were more Kong stages but whats there is fun to play and watch. I agree with Malak about how important the visuals are to this game. Like I said..this game is like an amusement park ride and one pretty one at that.

well it's $39 for the PC version and i was thnking of picking it up after i get my new video card to replace my now-dead 9800xt . . . probably a x850xt in AGP . . .
is the Gamer's Edition that much more demanding a x850xt would have trouble with it? Is the gamers edition more expensive or just a D/L add-on?
And IF i get the xbox360 - instead of a video card - is there "anytime save"?
