Kinect is officially coming to the PC, just not yet.

I'm confident the current kinect owners will be able to use there kinect with their PC's. Is anyone using software now to any great success? I've looked at Kinemote and Win&I, but have been letdown by reading users experiences.
I'm looking for the best way to browse and also run WMC. I'd like to be able to customize gestures for actions. Rock sign/fist to open iTunes, clap to open chrome, pat head to start WMC, raise the roof for volume up and thumbs down for volume down, talking hand for voice activated keyboard input... something along those lines that I could try to customize a unique gesture to a set of given functions/programs. I have not seen anything like this yet.
This will be big for windows 7/8 and the home centered PC.
