Yep, he posted the same trap link as a joke in the Hot Deals, Motherboard, and Video forums.....maybe more, but that's all I've seen so far.

I'm doing a scan with AdAware 6 right now...has anyone noticed or found any spyware/new programs on their systems or was this just an IE exploit/trick?

It wasn't just an IE exploit....the trap worked on me, and I'm using the latest version of Firefox. An AV scan using EZTrust and the latest update resulted in no viruses found.

ok i actually sat through the grusomeness long enough to see a window that said something like
eat sh!t google toolbar
if you were using firefox then this sh!t would not happen
no virus no spy or addware just a script kiddy showing off how he or she can defeat the google toolbar popup blocker

But i'm not using the google toolbar? I was just using IE. I mean, i've got every single windows update installed, is it just a script? No harm done?

Big accomplishment. The folks at Dictionary.com, as well as a few other sites have already figured out how to get around the Google Toolbar. Doesn't seem to be really that big a deal.
I didn't stay around long enough to see what the site would do; the ASCII image and the background on the subsequent page prompted me to close the window.

check for a process called adminserve.exe or something

I never remember having a process like that running...but I closed the iexplore.exe process and it took a while, but about 3 seconds later, all the windows closed up and were gone.

Anyone feel like ddosing this fewl to hell? 😉

Was this some kind of trojan inside a giant .bmp file? I think I saw something posted in video, it started taking so long to load over DSL that I closed the window, I started getting suspicious. Do I need to be concerned?

I don't remember which thread or who posted it, sorry. :|
