Was looking for at replacement for the paper calander, with the ability to plan for a week. Possible with this device?
 
Maybe. Personally, I find it easier to use my phone. It can sync with Google/Exchange, give you reminders, and you're always carrying it around anyway.

Anywho, Kindles support 'apps' now, you might check out their app store and see if they have a calender app.
