I imagine heating it to an extreme temperature would work, but also cook the person's appendage in the process. Also, electricity will change the polarity, but that would fry it also. Any ideas?

A wooden wedge & rubber mallet to pry the magnets apart far enough to free the fingers.

Or just pulverize the magnets.
