I currently thinking about getting the Dazzle DVC to capture video. But was wondering what the rest of you think as the "best" video capturing device for less than $200.00. Any opinions?

I use the Dazzle. Its ok with my needs, though i know there is much better out there. I would have splurged for a hotwire card but my Video Cam doesnt support it. All i needed for S-video,composite in and audio. Dazzle handled that fine.

i used to use videum pci capture cards and windows media encoder or real producer. either work but for different formats. i also like adobes premier to capture uncompressed avi's with premium quality. but be warned that capturing in premeir will take about 1 gig a minute or so!!! i do have a videum card for sale if someones interested....comes with windows media encoder and real producer and all the drivers for all os's needed to run it!
