btw, i got the retail copy yesterday and I'm almost done with the whole single player ladder. on adept. ... have i been playing too much?

anyway, i'm in. i played on your server yesterday, Confused but the lag is too high. i was always in the upper 200's and that makes playing a lot more difficult. i still think i got a flawless victory though. he he he he.
 
Tetsuo316, How many maps have you had to play over because you lost? All I know is the last CTF map is a big pain in the arse! I had to play the last one-on-one map three times to beat Malcom on Average.

BTW, What happened to Assault? That's one of my favorite game types.

I agree why did they leave this out?

Perhaps we will get lucky and they will release it as a add-on pack, doubtful but hopefully!
 
I'm gonna save my pennies for Mechwarrior4 Mercenaries when it comes out Nov. 8, so count me out for anything requiring UT2003 retail.

That was my favorite mode as well. I read an article about it in CGW. Epic wanted the series to have more of a "sports" feel instead of a military feel. That's why Assault was dropped and Bombing Run was added. That's also why it's called UT 2003 instead of UT2. Sports titles always use the year in their naming (Madden 2003, for example).
 
...modem... lol i use to play on my modem and still do with pings of 200-300 and still im very good in "tribes 1, tribes 2" and not so bad in Unreal T... So lag is something i learn to game with... the onlyt hing that stops me from join/ing is I don't own the game and it be at least a mth or till i can upgread my gfx to handle that game so maybe later for me...
 
Someone who i've got talking to after he came into work yesterday and phoned in today said that he might be able to line up a match with the winners of the UK clan championship (or summin like that! :Q)

I think we need to get this off the ground! 😉
