Wondering if I can get some assistance from some of ATOT"s Ebay users.

I recently putted up a textbook on listings and then created a paypal account.

When I put the textbook up for listing it didn't charge me any fee because I kept it simple apparently.

So my question is what happens when the 7 day period ends and your item have no bids or buyers?

May I recommend selling textbooks on half.com or on Amazon marketplace. True, the cut is 15% instead of ~8% for eBay/Paypal, but it's easy, credit card processing is built-in, books seem to sell better on half.com than on eBay, and there is a shipping reimbursement.

how low of a price?

What is the free relist policy?

Normally, insertion fees for listing your item are non-refundable. However, if your listing ends without a winning buyer or with an unpaid item, you can qualify for a credit if you meet certain requirements.
To relist an item:

1.

Sign in to My eBay.
2.

In the Sell section, click the Unsold link.
3.

Click the Relist link next to the item.

You can also access the Relist link from the ended listing page.

Learn more about relisting your item.

Tip: If your item didn't sell the first time, consider using a different title, lowering the starting price, or adding a more detailed item description.

Can you also keep changing the starting price whenever you feel like it if the item has no bids?

You dont pay fees right away. You pay them at the end of the month.
And I was lucky to sell a few things before I got clipped.

Also, just so you know.....
As far as books go I've been screwed on shipping fees. Am only allowed to charge 4 bucks but it costs me 5 to ship. Keep that in mind when you set your sale price.

I just used Amazon buyback. They email you a prepaid shipping label, you mail to them and then as long as it's in good shape get amazon credits. I sent my book in Friday (20th) and already got my credit at 1pm today.
