Kind of n0ob question about memory and FSB.

Forgive my ignorance.

For a P4 with 533 MHz FSB, will the rig be faster with PC1066 than with PC800?

I say anywhere from 3-14 percent looking at some of anandtechs past reviews....ofcourse sissoft will tell you like 2500mb/s (2700mb/s on a 850e mobo) for pc800 and 3240 or so on the pc1066...don't trust this as the actually programs don't show that much gain...

or you could always get some good pc800 and run it at 1066 (good meaning brandname stuff that would overclock well)

The reason I was asking was that I will be getting a new rig @ work.
A Gateway with P4 @2.8GHz, GF4 Ti4200, 512Mb RAM + 19" LCD´. Drooool!
Sad thing is that the site doesn't say what resolution or part # the LCD has.
