Kind of a different video card question................

I've recently tried 4 different 19" flat screen monitors.....They each have their own quirks....geometry was poor but not my main concern......Getting consistent focus edge to edge was impossible, that really bothered me.

I'm using a Voodoo3 2000 @166Mhz......desktop set to 1280x1024....

The focus only became noticable while web surfing.....

Text would look amazingly sharp...... yet in other areas it would look readable but a bit fuzzy and out of focus.

Could this be due to the video card I'm using?

Could a video card change provide better more consistent focus and maybe even better geometry?

When do you adjust video card gamma settings as opposed to setting individual rgb monitor settings?

I'm thinking about buying a Elsa GF 2 GTS...

I want to get some opinions.......Thanks 🙂
 
I would think your V3 would be better in 2D than most any....uh..off brand...like the one you are considering..😉

It took me quite a while to get my Samsung 955DF where I wanted it as the adjustments take sometime to master.
