so i'm driving back from grocery shopping, doing my usual 'speed racer' twists and turns when i start smelling something. i roll down my windows and forget about it. i get home, open up the trunk and :Q! kimchi juice all over my trunk.

so, how do i get the smell out? would fabreeze work?

wtf is kimchi juice? (90% of the people here on AT probably don't know what it is)

For one thing, let it air and dry out tomorrow...then try that Fabreeze stuff.

bwahahahaha.... that's the funniest thing i've heard yet today (well apart from someone's GF sucks)

fabreeze should work. maybe some oxiclean. but color test first. be sure to get as much of it as you can. it may get crusty

gotta steam out that bad boy first and then use some deodorizer. It's pretty tough to get out if you let it sit. Plus it smells like something crawled in your car and died. Doesn't go over too well with the ladies.

kimchi spill in the car smells VERY VERY bad. you should get some heavy duty cleaning stuff in there, or like wait a year or two for it to go away. it's not easy bro

You either rip out the carpeting and replace them or go get it steamed out. Had that happened a lot whenever I go grocery shopping w/my mom or dad and when ever we go on a vacation. The smells isn't too pungent in the cool weather but when it gets hot, watch out cause EPA/FBI are going to think it's a biological weapon being prepared for an attack. (3 cars purchased brand new and I couldn't sell none of them due to carpet stains + pungent oder that has no rivals) Had to trade them in:p

ROTFLMAO that's some funny sh!t.

I would definitely steam clean it with a Bissell or hire one of those carpet cleaner services to do it for you, this should clean it thoroughly then let it dry then use a crapload of Febreeze.

Yes Kimchi is new to many people here....never tried it until I met Korean girlfriend. I am a southern boy raised on grits, eggs, bacon and buscuits ...Kimchi was a vastly different food for me.

It is tasty, but too hot/spicy for me.

Reminds of the time somebody set me up on the refrigerator. A glass jar of fish sauce was lean against the door on the inside, i unknowningly opened the door and.....bam! Fish sauce all over the kitchen floor and under the refrigerator.

I had a friend along time ago that grew up in Guam.
Instead of saying
So and so "is in deep $hit"
He would say "deep Kimchi"!

What was it DOING in the trunk in the FIRST place?? ;)
