If anything happens that is productive from this I will be ecstatic. The article doesn't really state what Kim's ideas are, but it's hard for me to imagine we can do worse. I think the way people are treated throughout our criminal justice system is the single most important thing to better America, and I've always seen it as politically toxic because it's hard to convince people that it's a good idea to treat criminals better. If enough happens under Trump to this end, I might even become a fan. That's how important this is to me, because the thought of supporting Trump nearly made me gag.
