Killzone 2

looks like a fancier COD4

if this came out when it was suppose to, it wouldve been a lot more impressive.

Looks good. I haven't played CoD4, but it looks kinda like a more realistic first person Gears of War. Looks like they're getting away from that Halo-killer mantra, which seems to be a very good thing.

Killzone was average at best. I'll be hyped about this game only if it garners great reviews at release, otherwise it's not on my radar. This game does not deserve hype simply because of the controversy surrounding the E3 video a few years ago.

Purdy.

I'm interested to see how this turns out. I don't remember if I ever got through the first one, it ended up being too damn buggy and mediocre.

The Pre-alpha build got pretty good reviews.

They use a lot of motion blur and fuzziness to make it look more smooth. I have a good feeling enemies will impact like soft targets tho.. good FPS need satisfying collision animation that doesn't feel too ragdoll.

Yeah, it looks like a prettier CoD4.

I pretty much agree with these two gentlemen.

the gameplay may have been average at best, but I enjoyed Killzone for everything else it offered. i.e. it really presented a story that could be easily expanded to epic levels. Here's to hoping that Killzone 2 was have an amazing story, because it has the potential. I loved the idea of the ISA versus the Helghast and their respective planets.

Despite all the eye candy Killzone 2 offers - sadly it's quite apparent that we've nearly reached the maximum potential of these "next-gen" systems.

Just look at the textures in Killzone 2 - a good majority of them are very washed out and definitely of "last-gen caliber"

Once again, I must say that Crysis simply blows away anything consoles have to offer from a Visual standpoint.

Gameplay is a completely different story - if it weren't, the Wii wouldn't be doing so well.
