it comes out on thursday the 5th, for those who reserved at gamestop. does anyone know what this demo includes (multiplayer maps, campaign demo, ect.)?

It comes out on the EU PSN on the same day, so you'll be able to get it without pre-ordering the game if you create an EU PSN account.

Haha, that'd be a slap to the people who preordered. It was said specifically that the demo was only to those who preordered, so technically people "purchased" a preorder on the game to play the demo. Pretty shitty way to treat customers if this rumor is true.

That link doesn't say anything about a 'general release', just that the demo is coming to NA (which we already know). I think it's safe to say that it will be for Gamestop preorder customers only as planned. But again, it will be available to all through the EU PSN, so it's a moot point.

So today I had to make a VERY tough decision.

All my PS3 games I have got for a fraction of their original price. But I have been looking for a mighty FPS to shake me up for a while after the COD4 joy has faded. So I decided that I might want to get KillZone 2, but since I never paid retail price for a single PS3 game, I was feeling kind of bad about $59.99 on just one game no matter how good it is. So I was planning on getting KZ2 pre-ordered from GameStop so that I get the Demo. Now I always buy my games and electronics online never from retail stores, so I save loads of money on my games.

It just happened a while back I got a $10 Best Buy gift card from work. Well I have been scratching my head about what the heck I could do with such little BestBuy money, since I buy nothing from there. So I went and got my pre-order of KZ2 today after work from BestBuy, hence dropping the price to $49.99!

But there will be no Demo for poor me 🙁 OH THE PAIN!
I will be in for lots of pain until the 27th that is for sure 😀

You will be able to play the demo, all you have to do is create a EU PSN account and download it from the EU PSN Store. It releases on the EU store the same day as the US store.
