I had a friend get hit in the forhead, right above where the mask stops. It left a knot on his head about 1" round and 1.5" tall. It looked like a little horn growing out of his head. Oh, he was knocked out for about 10-15 seconds too.

A paintball isn't *that* powerful. Unless they're using a gun that's too fast (probably prohibited at the field) or freezing their paint (definitely prohibited).

It happens.. rarely, but people typically get banned from fields for stuff like that.
