Why does Cad need to go read the New Testament? I don't remember him say that he was a Christian... did I miss that?

Yes, he's said it many, many times. It's OK though, you're apparantly new around here. :)

Actually I believe this is the second thread I have posted such info in.:) And Daniel1113 was a part of that other thread IIRC.

What? I certainly hope not. Why would you ask such a silly question? Maybe I should have phrased it, "... a fetus would have to be considered a human being with all of the associated rights and priveleges..." There. How's that?

As for Christ being a liberal, I don't think so. Jesus said to love all people. He didn't say you should support or condone their actions if they go againsts God's teachings. Nice try.

We've already established that the bible doesn't explicitly say "abortion is wrong." It's an interpretation. That's it. Unless you have some evidence to the contrary? Hmmmmm?

You're right though, Jesus was probably a communist. :)

You cannot prove that a fetus is not a human being. So, why don't we stop all abortions until it can be proved either way?

What is it with liberals always calling conservatives communists? Surely you have a better argument than that, as we both know that is total B.S.

So, let me get this straight, you want me to prove a negative? No thanks. Thing is, I don't really have to bother. A fetus does not have the same rights as a child who has been born. Sorry, but you're out of luck on this one.

When we outlaw abortions, only outlaws will have abortions. :)

Where?

Hmm, I've been looking myself and found this:

Luke 1:15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.

But notice he is filled with the spirit from his mother's womb, ie: birth, not in his mother's womb. So far I've seen nothing in the Bible that would indicate anyone mentioned in or contributing to it felt an unborn child was a person.

It'd be nice if they listed the whole verse and the version it came from.

Luke 1:15 - "filled with Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's womb"

That's neither KJV/NKJV or NIV.

And Exodus 21:22 is certainly an interesting one, you'd think if that was actually considered murder the penalty would be a bit more severe considering how hardcare OT laws seemed to be.
