A guy , former Seal Team Six operations mgr has released a book saying that it is the real account of what happened and after listening to him , it does sound a lot more probable.
He is saying that they killed Bin Laden in under 2 minutes. That they landed on the roof not the yard, went down from the roof , down onto the terrace , entered the rooms from there and killed him in under 2 minutes. To me it makes a lot more sense that if you are going to attack a building you don't land on the ground around that building if you can land on the roof and enter. Landing on the ground would mean you have to fight your way just to get inside, then fight your way up, not having any cover until you do get inside.
I think the media had it backwards and they did enter through the roof and the chopper that was broken in the yard was for pickup not where they dropped off.
Not that it all really matters but I did find the reports of it taking minutes almost up to an hour to get to Bin Laden a bit odd.
