I don't know what to say.. other than that I've not shelled out $279 for a network card since the days of FDDI. :roll:

I have a once-upon-a-time $2400 Sun Quad-ethernet interface at home :)

Figured it would do my firewall well, but performance wasn't very good :(

Someone please enlighten me on how this thing would speed up your connection, when the ISP for cable is like 10Mbps. So does it only speed up the connection from the output of the modem to your computer?
