Hmm, interesting. Not too surprising really, but I wonder about how much of a problem it really is. Even if the chemicals are bad for you, most cars seem to have enough air flowing through them to not allow for the buildup of very high levels of chemicals. The samples were taken from windshield film, which builds up over years, and would almost certainly be in much higher concentrations than what we would be breathing in.

maybe you could leave the doors open for a few weeks in your garage to get over the worst of the out gassing, before you drive it.
