Kill Bill SUCKED

Rented Vol. 1 becuase of all the hype, couldn't finish it. Boring, full of artsy crap, What a letdown, I will definitely not see VOl. 2.. He's got some balls writing "The 4th movie by Quentin Tarantino" on it. As far as I'm concerned, he did two good movies. Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs.

artsy crap? More like over-stylized crap. I enjoyed both movies but I think they're pretty far from being artsy.

There's a million threads on the movie in which everyone else has expressed their opinons, yet yours needs its own?

I watched Vol. 1 last night. Average movie at best. I don't get why so many people have such a hard on for him.

My opinion is obviously more important than anyone elses.

The second one was very different than the first. I actually enjoyed Vol 2 more than Vol 1. The pace is slower, and its character driven.

I've seen a fair amount of anime, samurai, Hong Kong kung fu and Chinese sword & sorcery ( the old Shaw Brothers) and I enjoyed it for what it was: an over the top homage, just like Big Trouble in Little China.

If you're not familiar with at least some of the source material, you're much less likely to enjoy it. Imagine watching Back to the Future 3 without knowing who Clint Eastwood is, a big chunk of the movie becomes instantly less funny.

Well, maybe. But I didn't think they were making such a movie for a limited audience.

...no suspension of disbelief in the kill bills..must be orientated towards the wrestling/bowling crowd...

Yeah, just like in The Death of Ivan Illich. Leo Tolstoy is such a retard.

to you yeah, but hardly to us 😛

I thought the squirting blood was funny, my wife thought it was"stupid".

To sum it up - No I would not buy it.

I thought Volume 1 was crap when I first saw it, but 2 really helped balance it out. Now I think they're entertaining (if you like Kung-Fu) movies, but they're certaintly not great.

but it is his 4rth film...
so...
why would he not call it that.

i think RD was a good movie.
pulp fiction bored me.
jackie brown. oy.
i liked the kill bills.
i enjoy all the genres he was working with.

I'm not a fan of Tarentino. Pulp Fiction was the only good movie he's ever made. He also is the most ANNOYING human being I've ever seen...he was on Conan the other night and I just wanted to stab him through the TV screen.

How many directors put that in the beginning of the the movie? Retarded.

I went to see the first one, thinking it looked pretty good by the trailer. I actually didn't even know it was by him until I saw that. As soon as I did....I knew I was in for a piece of sh!t, and let me tell you he did not disappoint.
