OT, but I've also heard rumors that Tarentino was thinking of making a sequal/spin-off to Pulp Fiction, centering around the couple who held up the diner.

just rumors, though. maybe he's spreading all these false rumors to take attention away from some secret project that he wants to suprise us with.

can't say that it matters to me, though. he's one of the few directors that I trust to make consistently good movies, no matter how skeptical others are.

now if only we could get QT to remake Star Wars 1-3

why is kill bill 3 a surprise to anyone? trilogy's are now the newest marketing tool (new in the last 20 years or so) that movie companies have to keep us coming back...

but in all reality, kill bill 3 will actually be more like 2 since KB1 and KB2 were all shot at the same time and intended to be one movie, it was just decided that they didnt wanna edit out the 4+ hour movie down to 2 and decided to cut it into 2 seperate movies

just like when matrix 2 & 3 were done... they were both filmed at the same time... hell even back to the future 2 & 3 were filmed at the same time

Volume 3 makes no sense.

The Kill Bill script was written and when they made the movie it was too long for 1 film so they split it up into 2 volumes. The movie has an ending so there would be no need for it to continue.

A prequel would make sense, especially if you know why they tried to kill the bride in the first place. I have read the script but not seen the movie since I already knew how the movie ended and what happens. I was wondering where they split the movie exactly, and if they gave the brides name in the first part or not.

Kill Bill was chopped in two due to marketing.

Since he had the time, QT went back and recut the film adding more footage to Vol 2. The final version of Vol. 2 was not completed until very recently.
