I got to say even though I'm a 19 year old I still enjoy watching some of these cartoons. I've been watching kidswb ever since I can remember, 3 years old perhaps. Seems like all the networks are forcing you to get cable now. First Monday Night football got taken away from abc. Fox took away their weekday cartoon line up and now KidsWB.

I'd react the same way. I don't want to sound stupid but what will children do now. I actually think the cartoons may help children stay out of trouble in the streets. Now there is nothing for them to watch afterschool, except Doctor Phil?

Do they still show Ducktales? I've been out of the loop. If not, then I could care less.

Well saturday shows will still be there. But that's only 1 day out of the 7 days. I guess tv stations just can't profit off of children anymore, so they just put on something else.

Well, when you've got Cartoon Network and Boomerang, Nickelodeon, Disney Channels, PBS Kids, Noggin, and other cable channels showing cartoons and kids shows all day it isn't surprising.

I miss when Fox was showing Batman the Animated series, and when Disney Afternoon was still around.

What about Dick Tracy reruns? They were showing those on Fox 5 at like 2:30ish after school.

That's a lame analysis. During the day Nickolodean and Cartoon Network are dedicated to kid's cartoons. How did WB expect to compete with that? I see no reason why being #3 is bad.

Maybe they need to try a different set of cartoons if the ones they're using aren't working...

I agree with you. Problem is not everyone can afford cable you know. People have to pay for phone bills, ISP, etc. I think i'm just a bit upset because cartoons have always been a given.Aas I'm looking at this sooner or later there will be no more cartoons in public television.

Well, unfortunately the people that can afford cable are tuning into these cable channels. This kills the ratings for WBKids during the week. You don't get ratings, you don't get money and your show is cancelled.

Don't forget about spiderman...

You can catch Batman on Boomerang now. Spiderman is shown on one of the Disney channels at night along with the rest of the Disney shows.

I would never know this if I didn't have a three-year old.

Once they lost the good cartoons, all that left was yugiho crap, and pokemoke crap.

Batman the Animated series
The Adventure of Batmand/Superman
Ducktales
Tailspin
Looney Tunes
Anamaniacs
Pinky and The Brain
And sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many other better cartoons.

If they brought back pinky and the brain...I would watch.
